Donair Meatballs and Sauce

Donair Meatballs

  • 1lb medium ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Maritime Donair Seasoning
  1. Mix well, form the meat into small 1" sized balls and fry on low-medium in a saucepan for about 8-10 minutes. Turn the Meatballs regularly to get an even brown coating.
  2. Serve with Donair Sauce on the side for a delicious treat!

Donair Sauce

  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 3⁄4 cup white sugar
  • 1⁄4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  1. In a bowl, mix together the evaporated milk, sugar, garlic powder.
  2. Next add in the white vinegar. Do not stir immediately.
  3. Let the milk curdle slightly, and then stir after 3 minutes.
  4. For best flavor results, refrigerate the sauce for at least 1 hour before using. Enjoy!
